What a week!

WARNING: There are NO cute pictures of babies on this post... but there will be some soon!

This week has been a LONG one. Besides hanging out at the grocery store for HOURS (and not because I wanted to) We had our ward craft day this past Saturday and I decided to make atleast one of everyone's project.. ask me why? I HAVE NO IDEA! By the time Wednesday rolled around I had to call in re-inforcements. A few of my friends (thank you friends!) came over and helped me paint, sand, stain and embelish. I (to say the least) am completely B.e.a.t!

My Mom flew is Thursday, it's always fun when Mom comes.. actually usually she bans me to bed within 30 seconds of being here, but this time she didn't. We actually walked around downtown Flag (so cute!) We enjoyed a SUPER yummy lunch at Pato Thai. We had the Yummiest soup (Tom Ka) and Pad Thai. Delicious. We organized, visited and craft. success!

Last night (Sunday) Maddy hit a mile stone, two actually: She did a full-blown crawl and (drum roll please) Broke in her first little tooth! (Pictures soon.. promise)

Last night I feel asleep at 7pm, yes, before the kids and woke up this morning at 5:30 to sniffling and sneezing. Hello head cold! This week is going to be low key (lets hope) pumpkin carving tonight and pizza with friends on Friday. Then Halloween, geesh.. better go figure out costumes. Hope you all had a great week.

I would LOVE Halloween costume ideas (hint, hint) :)

Maddi could be a Pretty Witch. That is what I am dressing Brynleigh up as. A purple and black tutu with gems on it. Black onsie. Black tights. And I am making a witch hat with sparkly webs (thats the material) and the brim is a ruffled tool. (however you spell it) You are the sewing queen. It should be easy for you!

Izzy is going to be a pretty witch too. I don't sew so I bought it at Children's Place for only like $12 on sale. Adam is a Ty Rex, also from Children's Place. And Anna is Cinderella, from Wal-Mart.

I know, bad Mom for not making them, but it was easy and we are all ready to go! And really not too expensive either.

Hope the craft day went well!! Did everything arrive unbroken? You are wonder woman for painting and staining all that stuff, I bet all the ladies loved you for it. Glad it was a success.

Have Keagan be Riley, Maddy can be Riley too, and Riley can be his Dad (put a tie on him, darken his face a bit in the beard area and have him smile a lot). Or have Maddy be batgirl with your old blue cap with cape attached. Certainly Keagan has enough princess costumes to dress up in, but why not have her be a bride? You have that one already, too.

Hobos are always easy--old scruffy clothes, darkened faces in the beard area, slouchy old hats. I guess they don't do those anymore, but they were a life-saver on Halloween afternoon!

Sorry you are sick. I think it will keep you laying low, though. Get better.

Peter Pan theme! That's what we're doing at our house. Landon as Pan, Nathan as Hook, and Courtlyn as Tink. Just swap Hook for Wendy and you've got a plan! :)
