Nightmares and 911

My nightly schedule:

8:00 Bedtime for Barb, I just get so tired lately I call it quits early (my Mom is so happy to hear that I am sure)
8:30-12:00 Crazy weird dreams, more about this below
2:00 am I pump my milk getting ready for Maddy to wake up and eat. With the medicine, I have to pump and dump once that way Maddy won't get as much of the medicine.
2:15 or so Maddy eats
2:30 back to dreaming
6:00 am like clockwork Riley is up for the day, any suggestions on how to make that little boy sleep in?
7:30 up for the day, and the fun begins.

Now about those dreams:

So lately I have been having these crazy nightmares about dying, sounds like fun, right? My biggest fear is that I will be alone with Maddy and have a heart-attack, which would leave Maddy alone until someone would find her (in my dreams it would be like 2 days later) Crazy! So the other day I was telling my friend about my dream and she said that we should do a check-in system. David and I have this system already in place, he tries the house, then the cell phone, then if he still can't get a hold of me he calls my friend. I ALWAYS answer in fear of having police and fire at my door from a 911 call placed by my husband.

So anyhoo... after talking to my friend about it I had to run to Keagan's school for something and on my way home I heard sirens from a fire truck that was behind me, so I pulled to the side and let him pass. Riley shouts, "Mom, there's coming to ours house" I assure Riley they weren't, but they were making all the right turns, very odd. Well sure enough they pull up right in front of our town home. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I called my friend to see if she called 911, she said she hadn't. I get out of the car and sheepishly ask, are you here for me? They asked me what number our house was and when I told them they said, "nope" Whew! What a relief! So when they got the "all clear" they were nice enough to take pictures with Riley.
This is the view from our front door.

So there you go, now you know what I go through every night and the crazy coinsciendence of having 911 called, luckly not because of us.

Sorry Barb! Is Riley old enough to tell when a digital clock says 7:00 am? I had a friend who took their little one to the store and let them pick out a digital clock and when it says 7:00 am he knows he is allowed to go get his mom. Just an idea!

That is funny though, glad you didnt have a heart attack! Hey, at least the fire department was already there in case you did!

Dang girl, sounds like you've been through a lot lately. I've been thinking about you a ton these past few weeks. I hope you're hanging in there. What a crazy fireman story--pretty cool that they took pics with riley guy too! love you!

I am the anonymous "friend" of the story, and I have to say, that was pretty dang funny! After she hung up to talk to the firemen, she didn't call me back for HOURS!! I finally had to call her to get the rest of the story!

OK, Barb, I have crazy dreams all the time and have learned that we often dream about our fears. So, don't worry, you're not going to die, but you do lead a very eventful life:)
